Scrapbook Kits With A Difference Challenge.

Well I was lucky enough to win last months Inspiration challenge with my wedding LO and I'm now giving the sketch challenge a go this month. Here is the sketch:

It is a lovely sketch.  I have flipped the sketch. As I'm scrapping my holiday shots, so here is my LO:

I love these little tea cup stickers and have been dying to use them and then thought they would come up great with the Dining room theme. Usually I create a double LO and like to put it up for my friends and family to see, so here it is:

Well that's it for now. Bye.

Sketches With A Twist Challenge.

I have participated in another challenge over at Sketches with a twist. Here is the sketch for this month:

The Sketch

This Months TWIST is to use Heat or Dry Embossing on your LO.

I am still scrapping holiday photo's from Thailand, here are photo's of a day we went to discover Hua Hin and of course in the little country town there was a Macca's. Here is my LO:

I actually love the colours but they don't show up as well on this one. I have embossed the title and the colour just pops. Usually I create a double LO and like to pop it up here so my family and friends can see, so here it is:

That's it for today. Until next time bye.

Scrapbooking From Scratch Challenge.

Hi everyone just me today showing you what I created for SFS. The colour challenge this month is to revolve around this inspirational photo:

I instantly thought of this LO I have been wanting to start, I have had the paper for a while and haven't gotten around to it. So here it:

This is my daughters friend who is always on her phone, so when I found this paper I thought of her straight away. If you can see on the right side it has all the abbreviations that they use on their phones and the explanations of what they mean. It is cool LOL.
Well that's it for now , bye.

Kraft It Up Challenge!

I have just looked and there are plenty of entries for this month already so here goes for me. The challenge this month is:

SEPTEMBER'S KIU CHALLENGE...

This month your challenge is to create a layout using Kraft Cardstock or Kraft Patterned Paper and use the colours from the below colour swatch.

As I have been trying to scrap my holiday photo's I thought this would be a great one for our day spa experience. Here is what I came up with:

I have done plenty of masking, used washi tape, made a frangipani etc. I'm quite pleased with the finished result.
As usually I have created a double LO and I like to pop it up for friends and family to see, so here we go:

Oh what I would give for a massage treatment now and of course sun and warmth for sure { as we have thunder and a downpour now}.
Well that is it for now.
Until next time, bye.
Kerry.

Purple Pumpkin Challenge.

Well here we are another month already and another challenge for Purple Pumpkin. It is a sketch and here it is:

What a lovely sketch it is. I'm trying to do my sons school photo's so I thought I could adapt this to work with this photo and here it is:

I used Tim Holt's picket fence to make my circle. I love all the bits and pieces to make the LO, like the globe sticker, ticket, PP bike button etc etc.
Oh how he has grown.
That is it for today. Until next time, bye.

Giselle's Christening.

Hi guys another post from me over at scrapbookit as of today pop over and have a look - http://scrapbookitblog.blogspot.com.au/

Here is my double LO:

The second LO is of Logan after the christening we went into the hall and had morning tea, someone gave Logan a lollipop and he had no idea on how to eat it. He was opening his mouth up so wide  and licking it. He also would put it so far back that he would make himself gag. It was funny to watch.
Anyway go check out my post at scrapbookit.
Bye.

White With 1 Challenge.

Here we are a new challenge for this month over at White With 1. The requirements this month are:
 Septembers Challenge:

WHITE + ORANGE + BLACK

I seem to be using a lot of orange this month as you will see as this month progresses. I must say it isn't a colour I have used much but have been loving the LO's I have come up with. Here is my LO:

I thought this colour went great with the Buddha and I have been wanting to use the lotus flower stencil too. This was taken on our holiday to Thailand last year. The Buddha is coated in gold, as you can tell by everyone standing around it is quite tall and long. Also he is  inlaid with mother of pearl all over the soles of his feet and his eyes.
I usually create 2 LO's at once and like to pop it up for my family and friends to see. So here it is:

Well that is it for today.
Until next time.
Bye.
