Scrapbooking From Scratch and Charm's Creations.

A last dash for my final LO for June. I was prompted by this challenge when Charm's Creation popped this one on Facebook this morning as a reminder. I had seen it earlier and knew the photo I wanted to use, so off I went. The challenge was a quote over at SFS and this is what it is:  Distance cannot matter ours is a friendship of the heart All I had to do was add one of Charm's Creations great embellishments, here is what I came up with:

 
This is a photo off my girlfriend I hadn't seen in years and I caught up with her earlier this year and we just picked up where we left off. It was so great to see her again and we wont leave it so long next time.

Another Challenge.

I have come across a great blog called Charms Creations and they have these great little embellishments. So I went and brought some cute creations and decided to try their challenge. This month they are combinding challenges:

I have used Charm's Creations great star here and how cute is it. This is a photo of my cute neice and nephew and I thought the LO turned out great. I usually make a double LO so here is the other one:

Purple Pumpkin Challenge!

Hi everyone I have been busy creating a LO for Purplepumpkin here is this months sketch:

 I actually printed my own grid paper which I have been thinking about doing for a while now. I downloaded a site which has different styles, so it was fun and I will have to try some different ones now. Here is what I have come up with:

This photo was taken at my daughters 21st. I love the colours, which I wouldn't have thought of putting red and pink together. As usual I have created another page and here it is:

Firday Night Challenge.

I love Friday Night's Challenges over at Scraphappykat as you might have guessed already. This is what is required this week:

White + 2 Challenge
You are to use a white back ground and 2 other colours of your choosing
You are to add some doodling in black and
you may use black for your title and Journaling if you wish

I have been wanting to do this LO for ages as I saw one a like this a long time ago and boy is is cute. Here it is:

I have doodled on here but it is small. This is my little niece tasting her first birthday cake as her mum is making it. She is the cutest. I thought this would be quick and easy, but it took some time rearranging it all the time, but worth it. As usual I have done a second page and here it is:

Friday Night Challenge.

Hi guys just a quick one today with FNC over at Scraphappykat This week's instructions was as follows:

One Rule Challenge
The only rule for tonight's challenge is you CANNOT use Patterned Paper

I like this one, time for mist and ink which I love using. This is what I have come up with:

I love the muted colours and am liking my LO. Here is a close up:

This is a photo of my daughter at her 21st with my brother. She calls him Boom Boom as he rides motorbikes and when she was little she related to that and it started as Broom Broom. I must say she was terrified of motorbikes until one day she went for a ride and loved it. As usual I do a double LO and here it is:

Unfortunately the colour looks different but I don't mind both shades. The colour is closer to the first one.

Friday Night Challenge.

Hi guys me again with another FNC over at scraphappykat This week is a 3 product challenge?
Well here are the requirements:

 Tonight Challenge is a
3 Product Challenge
You are to use
#1 Cardstock
#2 Patterned Paper
#3 A Product of your choice
You are to use 2 Techniques on your LO or Card from the list below
#1 Stitching (hand or machine)
#2 Inking
#3 Glimmer Mist
#4 Paint
#5 Stamping
Add a Tittle and some journaling if you wish

I love these types of challenges as they get you thinking and trying different things. Here is what I came up with:

Instead of using the cardstock as my base I used my patterned paper and matted my photo with the cardstock. My product of choice was a flower. I stamped over and under the matting. I used a bit of glimmermist in patches and it tends to show up more on the photo's than it does in the album itself.

This is a photo of my cousin that I hadn't seen in years and it was great to catch up.

As usual here is my double LO:

I didn't realise until now that the flowers cast a fairly big shadow over the photo's.

Friday Night Challenge.

One week down and it is FNC once again. This week it is a sketch and here it is:

Well I have finished mine and now reading this I find I haven't stamped or masked. As I'm heading off for a couple of days I haven't time to fix it so I have decide to put it up anyway and here it is:

Black with 2

It is great to see that Black with 2 is up and running again and I'm on the Design Team. 

So I hope you all come on over and enter the challenge this month it is so much fun.

So the challenge is always to use black card stock and the the 2 extras are any shade of blue and white. 

Now you have to come over and see what the ladies, including myself have come up with.
