Hi guys it's the end of the month already the time has flown by so fast. A couple of days ago I realised I hadn't even looked at this months challenge over at Scraphappy Kats. So I thought I better get cracking, here is the sketch:
So here is my page:
This page is the other side of the last page I did and is more of Chelsie's birthday party. I'm not a big pink user although I love the colours here. I suppose tomorrow all the new challenges come out and off I start again. Bye for now Kerry.

Purple Pumpkins Challenge.
One more for today here is what is required for Purple Pumpkin it isn't a sketch this time. Here we go:
We've decided to change things up a bit this time, and the fabulous Belinda from our Design Team suggested we do a 123 challenge. So the challenge is to use 1 Lollipop/Flower
2 Doilies
3 Buttons
The rest is up to you!
It took a lot of rearranging and thinking to come up with this page but I'm pleased with the end result. Here it is:
I struggle with black and white photo's but love the finished page after all the hair pulling. swearing { only joking } etc.etc. These are old photo's of my kids and were quite dark so I scanned them and they came out better as black and white ones.
I found this mix master on the web and downloaded it with sure cuts a lot and cut it on my cricut. How cute?
What a great saying I found and how appropriate for this page.
One last one, a close up of the flowers, button and doily. This was my last doily I had and not the colour I wanted so I pressed my black ink pad over it to darken it. I stenciled in the background.Well that's it for today, I have just realised it's nearing the end of the month so I will try and get a few more challenges done before then. Ok Bye again. Kerry.
My friends A 2 Z Scraplets Challenge.
I had a girlfriend over the other day scrapbooking and I suggested she give this challenge a go. So we both got stuck into it. She doesn't have a blog and is not computer savvy, so I am submitting it for her. Her name is Sharon Godwin and this is her page for A2Z scraplets challenge:
Fingers crossed for both of us. Bye Kerry.
A 2 Z Scraplets Challenge.
It's A2Z scraplets challenge time now. I loved the sketch it alone was lovely. Here it is:
I worked around the beautiful chipboard daisy strip I got from A2Z Scraplet. Here is my page:
I love the colours which I don't use very much of so I had to dig deep to find something. The colours are a bit more vibrant but don't photograph well. I had fun with this page. Bye Kerry.

Friday Night Challenge!
Friday Night Challenge time once again. It was another great one and a few firsts for me too. Here are the requirements:
I made my flowers by using a square punch, tearing and inking. I also made the centres from shrinkie dinks and stamping them prior to to the shrinking.
The dragonfly is foil but didn't show up that well, although it was an overcast day, so I went around it with a white pen. A closer look of the stitching as well. I love it. This will be one of my classes for possibly next month. Bye for now Kerry.
Tonight we are working from a Sketch
This is the Sketch you are to use
and the instructions are
All embellishments must be hand made preferably by you
If you have a die cut machine (sizzix, cuttlebug, etc) and or punches you can use them
You may use ready made embellishments as long as they are altered in some way
I want to see some sort of fabric on your LO it can be ribbon, lace or bits of fabric
You must have some sort of stitching on your LO it can be machine, hand stitched or faux stitching (drawing little lines to look like stitching)
and if you really want to make me smile big time
SPLASH some PAINT about
Here is my page:
I hadn't used fabric before on my page and my sew easy stitch piercer for the stitching on the bottom, which looks fantastic if I do say so myself. Ha ha.I made my flowers by using a square punch, tearing and inking. I also made the centres from shrinkie dinks and stamping them prior to to the shrinking.

Friday Night Challenge!
Todays the day to submit my FNC over at Scraphappy Kat', it is a sketch this week and here it is:
It is a nice easy one which leaves you plenty of scope. Here is my take on the sketch:
The colouring doesn't show up very well in this photo it is overcast today and the light isn't good. The page is simple but I am happy with it. Well that's it for today. Bye Kerry.

Friday Night Challenge!
These FNC's come around quick. Here is the requirements for this week:
That's it for today. Bye Kerry.
You can interpret this sketch any way you like
the only rule for tonight is that we must see that you have used this sketch as the inspiration for your work
You don't have to use flowers they represent some sort of embellishments
You don't have to do a page, you can do a card or an OTP
And here is my page:
Unfortunately you can't see the print on the paper. I love the flowers, leaves, birdcage and bird that I brought at paperific last week.
I found this great free website that has all types of phrases:
www.scrapbook.com/quotes.phpThat's it for today. Bye Kerry.

Scrapbookit August/ Sept. Challenge.
Hi everyone I have just finished and entered my challenge to Scrapbookit. Scrapbookit had a blog hop last month which was great to see everyones creativity. You had to do the blog hop and here is the sketch:
A great sketch, I like to use multi photos. So here is my take:
Here is a close up of the flower. My girlfriend was over yesterday and brought the things she brought at Paperific in Melbourne last weekend. The flower punch was one of those things. You punch out four petals at a time then you have to peice it together. She punched and put together I shaded, blinged extra.
The strip is made with my new Martha Stewart punch and the bling is also new, what I got from Paperific . Here is my double layout.
