A 2 Z Scraplets Challenge.

Here is the last one for today, it is A2Z Scraplets August Challenge:
It is a fairly basic sketch but it took me ages to get the papers right. I had the rustic check and it went perfect with the photo's, I had it on top as the background, mixed with lighter and darker etc etc. Until I put this dark blue card stock underneath it just popped. It was worth all the bother as I love this page too. Here it is:
Enough for today until next time bye Kerry.

Scraphappy Kat's August Challenge.

Yes I have finished this one too. Here is the sketch which is a double page layout which is what I do for most of my pages anyway:
Now you can see I have a double layout here, Here is what you can do with it....
1. Use page 1 as your sketch
2. Use page 2 as your sketch
3. Use both pages as your sketch

There will not be any extra criteria this month to allow for more creativity from you wonderful gals.
Of course I have gone for 2 and pretty much stuck to the sketch. I love my photo's and didn't think they needed alot added to them. Here they are:
I love the colours which don't show up as well in the photo. I'm happy again with my pages. Ok Bye again. Kerry.

The Lollipop Ladies Challenge.

Here is a new one for me. I love the ideas they come up with each fortnight so I finally had a go. Each time it is something to do with food, an example is fairy floss, rainbow paddle pops, chocolate cake on the beaters etc etc. This is the challenge:
Hello and Welcome to challenge 26! Have we got a tasty treat for you this fortnight... This time we want you to take your creative inspiration from that tasty nutty biscuit snack: Biscotti

and the added extra is to add some TEXTURE.
I have taken two photos one with out the flash and one with. The one without shows a better picture and the one with shows the colour better. It was very hard to choose which photo so I have posted both. Here is my page without the flash:

Here is my page with the flash which is truer colours:
The black flowers down the side are felt, there is a weaved ribbon tied in a bow, I also have pearls and chipboard heading for texture.  Well I hope you like these and Bye for now Kerry.

Last weeks Friday Night Challenge.

I was busy last week and finished and sent my challenge in late, so now I'm late popping it on here. I did send it in days ago though. Here we go then this is the challenge:
Okay the only requirement for tonight is this......you can use only 2 colours black and yellow, green and pink, orange and purple..whatever you like....any variations of the same colours is fine, so you may choose blue and pink and use several shades of each colour.
Here is my finished page, I picked blue and white to go with my photo's so here it is:

My son Trent did photography at school last year and this is one of his photo shoots. All the family had input with me doing hair, their friend doing makeup, my daughters boyfriend spray painting her and the rest holding lights, backdrops etc etc. We started around 9am and finished at 7pm. It was a great day. Trent will be going back to study photography next year after a gap year. Anyway I love my page. Bye for now. Kerry

Friday Night Challenge!

Doesn't a week fly by fast. This week is another beauty:
WHITE on WHITE
The only rule is everything must be
WHITE
This sure was a challenge. I tried to find as many textures that I could, like chipboard, buttons, flowers etc etc. Also as many shades, I had a grey under tone, yellow under tone etc. etc. Here is my page:
I made my flower and put fairy dust on it, which doesn't show up too well and the close up looks like blobs of glue. I will try this flower again with different paper and inking. Here are my close ups:
I also put the glue on the wrong of my e and I like it this way. Thanks for dropping by. Bye for now Kerry.
