Scrap The Girls Challenge.

Hi everyone, I'm entering this challenge over at Scrap The Girls this month and here is the sketch:

What a lovely sketch.
This is what I created and I have flipped the sketch:

This little girl is just the cutest!
I loved all the layers but I still don't seem to be able to just put heaps of layers, although I'm happy with the end result.
I almost always create a double LO and like to pop it up here for friends and family to see, especially her ( Giselle ) mother to see.
 So here it is:

These photo's are from a photo shoot my son has done of her and I have more of the rest of the family to do soon.

Please if you are visiting become a follower of mine.
Bye for now.

Charms Creations NSD Challenge.

I have been busy scrapping at a retreat this weekend, oh so much fun.
So I got around to creating this for the national scrapbooking challenge over at Charms.

Here is the sketch for the challenge:

It is so pretty.
Here is what I created:

This is a photo from our holidays in Blairgowrie last year, such a beautiful part of our country.

I have used a stencil from Scrap FX with texture paste and then inked over it. I have used a flair from Funky Flair Studio and of course a chevron by Charm.

I usually create a double LO and this time for the other side I have created a project life LO.
I like to pop it up here for all my friends and family to see, so here it is:

That is it for now.
Please become a follower of mine if you are over visiting.
Bye.

Scrapbookit Challenge.

Hi everyone just a quick post to pop up my challenge entry for  scrapbookit this month.
The requirements are:

May Challenge

Your project must include the following Today (the word) Texture, and Tags(as many as you like).
Here is what I have created:

This is a photo of my daughters dog receiving a chew Christmas tree and not knowing what to do with it. He carted it around for ages before burying it.

I have added the word today, I have added texture with texture paste and a stencil, chipboard, hessian corrugated cardboard, even the tags have texture. The tags are from clothes or shoes I brought from Rivers which I have altered with gesso and glimmer mist.
It was so much fun.
That is it for now. Bye.

I have completed a challenge over at Charms Creation & Inspiration over on facebook.
The challenge was a mood board and here it is:

I took my inspiration from the butterfly's.
Here is my double LO I have created:

I have had the big butterfly for years and have always wanted to use it, once I saw this challenge I knew straight away this would be the time for it.

This is a photo of my daughters bouquet at her wedding and a picture at the wedding reception.

Show Us Your Stuff April Challenge.

Hi guys if you are reading this PLEASE become a follower of mine.

I have once again created a challenge over at SUYS.
This month it is a mood challenge created by Kim Kendall, here it is:

I love the pastels but I'm a red and bold colours sort of person so this is a challenge.
Here is what I have created:

I had these rare photo's of me which were taken so I could use them as my
profile picture when I became design team member over at Scrapbookit.

I used my shirt as the starting point as it is pastel shade and went from there with the pastel flowers. It has come out brighter in the photo as the star is baby blue.

I have used a Charms Creation star and a PL card which came in one of her packs, also a flair button from Funky Flair

I have enjoyed making this LO even if it is of me ha ha.
Until next time.
Bye.

Hi everyone this is my first time attempting a Project Life challenge.

I don't actually document every week with project life but more project life holidays and big events when I have heaps of photo's and I combine them with traditional 12 x 12 Lo's in the album.

This month it is a sketch and here it is:

This is what I have created:

I flipped the sketch and used a Charms embellishment.

Here is my full layout:

This was so much fun and I hope do participate again.

Until next time.
