Scrap The Girls Challenge.

Here we are on the last day of October so I thought
I best get my entry up for Scrap The Girls Challenge this month.
This is the requirements:
What gorgeous colours!
I thought that these would be great for a photo of my new and first grandchild.
Here is my creation:

How adorable is she?
I might be a bit bias though.
I loved using these colours and the morning I started this LO the
mail came and I have included the stamp which I thought was a great idea
to commemorate the year she was born and it is cute too.
I usually create a double LO and like to pop it here for
family and friends to see so here it is:
The photo's were taken in August and boy she is growing fast.
We love her to bits.

123 Challenge for October.

I'm not too sure if I have ever entered this challenge before over at 123 Challenge
as I saw someone's entry on Facebook and thought I would give it a go.
Here is what is required for this month:
I must say I'm not a big user of lime but when I went though my stash
of papers I was surprised to have a few pieces and they had spots already.
This is what I have created:
This is my title page for my album and it starts with
our first day of our holiday on January 1st 2014.
It was a great, relaxing holiday.

WOW Triple Treat!

I have tried the Wow Triple Treat, which I had to send an addressed envelope to Wow and they sent me some lovely chipboard to do what I like with and pop it up here for you all to see.
Here is the chipboard I received in the mail:

Well this is what I created:
I applied some inka gold on some of it and left the rest natural.
We hadn't long been told we were going to be grandparents
when this photo was taken, so a very happy Christmas for us all in 2014.
I had fun playing around with the chipboard and hope you like it too.

The Flair Studio Challenge.

I've completed a challenge over at The Flair Studio which was great.
This month the requirements were:

I'm not a big user of grey as the main colour so it was a challenge and that is what I like.
Here is what I created:
The colours worked out great with what my girlfriend was
wearing when she met my new little grand daughter.

I used grey, made a lace flower and of course used a flair.
Almost always I create a double LO and like to pop it here for friends and family to see.
So here it is:

Charms Creations Challenge.

Here I am with my entry into Charms Creations October challenge.
This is the requirements for this month:
I really wanted to scrap photo's from a resent high tea
I went to, as these tea cups are just gorgeous,
but the colours didn't go and I found these photo's instead.
Here is what I have created:
I took my inspiration from the nature, the flowers and the colours.
This is my dad and his beloved Matilda.
I have had these chook buttons for a long time now, it was great to be able to use them.
And of course I have some Charm goodies too.

I usually create a double LO and like to pop it here for
family and friends to see, so here it is:

Kraft Plus Challenge.

I have been wanting to give Kraft Plus challenge ago over the last couple
of months but have been too busy with my adorable first grandchild.
Last weekend I had me time at a retreat and this gave
me plenty of time to get my head around this challenge.
Here are the requirements:
 Here is what I created:
This is the back of my husband on our early morning walk
along the coast line at Blairgowrie, Victoria.
It was a beautiful place for a holiday.
I have used Kraft , a chipboard feather, twigs and reed ( found at our motel poolside trees at retreat ), also I had dried the flower ages ago in a microwave flower press of mine which I found in the cupboard while searching for things to bring to retreat.
I'm very pleased with how my LO turned out.

D-lish Scraps Challenge.

Here I am with an entry into D-lish Scraps for this month.
Here is the requirements:
These colours are fun colours and a great sketch.
When I first saw the colours and the red and polka dot cups I thought of these mushrooms I had and have wanted to use for a long time.
Here is what I have created:

Even though these are photo's from a wedding, I thought I came up with
quite a fun LO as they are more casual shots.
I have used all the colours and patterned paper with boards as in the fence, I have also used buttons. This was a fun LO to make.
I usually create a double LO and like to pop it up here
for family and friends to see, so here it is:

I hope you like this.
That's it for now.
Bye.

Scrapbookit Challenge.

Well it has been a while as we have welcomed
our first grandchild into the world and it has been very busy.
Although nothing like a retreat to get everything going again, which is where I went this weekend. Jo from Scrapbookit ran a retreat in beautiful picturesque Bright.
What a great weekend and certainly got my creativity going again.
Here is the challenge requirements for this month:

It is all about GIRLS, GOLD & GLITTER!

Which was great for my new photo's of our gorgeous grand daughter Caitlin.
 Here is what I created:
My daughter was rapt with this LO and said she would love to see it framed.

Unfortunately with the gold cardstock in the matte you can see my reflection.

These hearts are gorgeous from Charms Creation and I have applied inka gold around the edge and over the cross stitch.

Love Flourish with a bling swirls.
As usual I like to create a double LO and pop it up here for family and friends to see,
so here it is:
The colour hasn't come up as well with this double but you get the idea.

The paper is Kaisercraft as well as the big flowers,
flourish with a bling swirls and all can be found at Jo's shop
Well that's it for now.
Bye .
