Scrap The Girls Challenge.

Here we are on the last day of October so I thought
I best get my entry up for Scrap The Girls Challenge this month.
This is the requirements:
What gorgeous colours!
I thought that these would be great for a photo of my new and first grandchild.
Here is my creation:

How adorable is she?
I might be a bit bias though.
I loved using these colours and the morning I started this LO the
mail came and I have included the stamp which I thought was a great idea
to commemorate the year she was born and it is cute too.
I usually create a double LO and like to pop it here for
family and friends to see so here it is:
The photo's were taken in August and boy she is growing fast.
We love her to bits.

WOW Triple Treat!

I have tried the Wow Triple Treat, which I had to send an addressed envelope to Wow and they sent me some lovely chipboard to do what I like with and pop it up here for you all to see.
Here is the chipboard I received in the mail:

Well this is what I created:
I applied some inka gold on some of it and left the rest natural.
We hadn't long been told we were going to be grandparents
when this photo was taken, so a very happy Christmas for us all in 2014.
I had fun playing around with the chipboard and hope you like it too.

I've completed a challenge over at The Flair Studio which was great.
This month the requirements were:

I'm not a big user of grey as the main colour so it was a challenge and that is what I like.
Here is what I created:
The colours worked out great with what my girlfriend was
wearing when she met my new little grand daughter.

I used grey, made a lace flower and of course used a flair.
Almost always I create a double LO and like to pop it here for friends and family to see.
So here it is:

but the colours didn't go and I found these photo's instead.
Here is what I have created:
I took my inspiration from the nature, the flowers and the colours.
This is my dad and his beloved Matilda.
I have had these chook buttons for a long time now, it was great to be able to use them.
And of course I have some Charm goodies too.

I usually create a double LO and like to pop it here for
family and friends to see, so here it is:

Kraft Plus Challenge.

I have been wanting to give Kraft Plus challenge ago over the last couple
of months but have been too busy with my adorable first grandchild.
Last weekend I had me time at a retreat and this gave
me plenty of time to get my head around this challenge.
Here are the requirements:
 Here is what I created:
This is the back of my husband on our early morning walk
along the coast line at Blairgowrie, Victoria.
It was a beautiful place for a holiday.
I have used Kraft , a chipboard feather, twigs and reed ( found at our motel poolside trees at retreat ), also I had dried the flower ages ago in a microwave flower press of mine which I found in the cupboard while searching for things to bring to retreat.
I'm very pleased with how my LO turned out.

D-lish Scraps Challenge.

Here I am with an entry into D-lish Scraps for this month.
Here is the requirements:
These colours are fun colours and a great sketch.
When I first saw the colours and the red and polka dot cups I thought of these mushrooms I had and have wanted to use for a long time.
Here is what I have created:

Even though these are photo's from a wedding, I thought I came up with
quite a fun LO as they are more casual shots.
I have used all the colours and patterned paper with boards as in the fence, I have also used buttons. This was a fun LO to make.
I usually create a double LO and like to pop it up here
for family and friends to see, so here it is:

I hope you like this.
That's it for now.
Bye.

Scrapbookit Challenge.

Well it has been a while as we have welcomed
our first grandchild into the world and it has been very busy.
Although nothing like a retreat to get everything going again, which is where I went this weekend. Jo from Scrapbookit ran a retreat in beautiful picturesque Bright.
What a great weekend and certainly got my creativity going again.
Here is the challenge requirements for this month:

It is all about GIRLS, GOLD & GLITTER!

Which was great for my new photo's of our gorgeous grand daughter Caitlin.
 Here is what I created:
My daughter was rapt with this LO and said she would love to see it framed.

Unfortunately with the gold cardstock in the matte you can see my reflection.

These hearts are gorgeous from Charms Creation and I have applied inka gold around the edge and over the cross stitch.

Love Flourish with a bling swirls.
As usual I like to create a double LO and pop it up here for family and friends to see,
so here it is:
The colour hasn't come up as well with this double but you get the idea.

The paper is Kaisercraft as well as the big flowers,
flourish with a bling swirls and all can be found at Jo's shop
Well that's it for now.
Bye .

Scrap The Girls Challenge.

Hi I'm trying to pop up my Challenge entry quickly before attending to tea
and I think this is my last challenge for the month.
I have created for Scrap The Girls and this is the requirements for this
month it is a mood board:

I love the colours but they are a real challenge for me.
Here is what I have created:

This is a photo of my friends and we are out for lunch after a
hard morning shopping at a great market.
It was such fun and close to Christmas so we picked up some great presents.

I have created the circle and flower on the left side which reminds me of the saucers in the mood board. I have used a Charms Creation heart and flower and also a star chippie button from Burdy's Embellies.

I love the big dots embossing folder on the burnt orange from my daughter.

So if you are reading this PLEASE become a follower of mine.
That is it for now.

D-lish Scraps Challenge.

Hi guys I'm not sure if I have completed a LO for D-lish Scraps before,
but thought I would give this one a go.
I actually hadn't brought the kit this month as I was away and when I got around to creating this LO my daughter had brought it and I pinched  some from hers.
This is the mood board for this month:

Wow what a great moodboard! The colours are very striking and a fantastic sketch too.
Anyway here is what I have created:

This great bird is actually our neighbours, his name is Pepe.
When they go away we bird sit him for a week or more ( once it was a month ) at a time.
He is just delightful and we love coming home to him singing and talking.
My son took this great photo of him while he was studying photography at school.
I showed our neighours this LO and they were rapt.

Anyway I took inspiration from the chevrons, followed the sketch and colours.
I used the washi film strip tape and the black sequins from D-lish.

I usually create a double LO and like to pop it here for family and friends to see.
So here it is:

Well that is it for today.

Hi everyone I have completed a challenge over at Stuck?! and I would love to share it with you all.
This is the required sketch for this month:

What a great sketch.
Here is what I have created:

When I pulled this photo out I thought I should of had it made bigger,
but once put into a LO I'm happy with it.
This photo was from a great retreat I went on last year, we had so much fun.

I usually create a double LO and love to put it up here for family and friends to see.
So here it is:

Over all I'm rapt with my LO's.

Show Us Your Stuff Challenge.

Well here I am with another entry into SUYS monthly challenge.
This is the requirements this month:

I love the colours on this mood board and I ran with the cold and music theme.
Here is what I have created:
This is a photo of my son when he was back at school a few years ago now. They were taking photo's for photography class.

I have coloured my own paper here using ink pads, water and sea salt.
I love the finished result.
I found this old sheet music from the Salvo's and decided to keep the song title as I thought it went well with the cold theme.
I painted my camera with ( new to me ) glitter paste.
I also included a Charms Creation chevron.

Most of the time I create a double LO , I like to pop it up here for my family and friends to see.
So here it is:

I had to add these photo's as they are jumping and have no heads.
Cool photo's.

That is it for now.
If your reading this please become a follower of mine.
Bye.

Funky Flair Challenge.

Hi everyone I'm not sure if I have created for Funky Flairs yet but I had a go at this months.
Here is what is required:

I'm not into pale colours but when I complete a challenge
with them on I think why I don't use them more often.
This is what I have created:

This is a great photo of my nephew which my son took for
photograph a few years ago at school.
I picked this paper up at Spotlight the morning I created this LO, it is
a Kaisercraft one and I thought the glitter circles were perfect.
I just had fun using up scraps and odd embellishments I had and also a Funky Flair.

That's it for now.

Scrapping Clearly Challenge.

I have found a new challenge to enter over at Scrapping Clearly
I found it through someone else blogging about it.
Anyway here is the moodboard for this month:

What a lovely moodboard it is.
This is my creation:

This is my gorgeous niece and from a few years ago.
I had fun creating the circle with ink, water and sea salt, which I came across this technique the night before on the computer. I was lucky to be at a craft day and a friend had this feather stamp and die cut from stampin up and they let me use it. I also had a runner from Charms Creation which has been in my stash for ages. The paper I found that morning at Spotlight on my way there and it is glitter circles from kaisercraft.
I'm very happy with the end result and had so much fun creating it.
I will go link it up now.

Kraft Plus Challenge.

Well I'm back again with another challenge over at Kraft+ this month and this is what is required:

Sometimes the hardest part is choosing the photo's for these challenges.
When I went through my stash of photo's I came up with my retreat photo's at Scrappe Tiger Retreat and thought "PERFECT".

Here is what I have created:

I have tried altering the kraft paper by smearing with ink, spritzing with water and sprinkling with sea salt and leaving over night. I love the result and texture it has left. I also found some animal print felt which I sprayed orange, it was very vibrant when I sprayed it but faded when dry, it blends in well. I also have a lovely Charms Creation heart which I already had and it finishes off the LO beautifully.
I usually create a double LO and like to pop it up here for friends and family to see and here it is:

Animal print is out of my comfort zone but I had so much fun with this LO.
