Get Picky Challenge.

I have had my friend staying over for almost a week and we have been scrapbooking as much as possible, hence all the blog entries lately. She scribbled this sketch down on a piece of paper that she came across through someones blog she was looking at, so I got to work. Here is the sketch:

 

My friend didn't think I would do it, she just thought I would like the sketch. So here is my finished master piece:

I didn't have any very small photos and this was the end result. I love the colours and shows my family having a great time, what more could I ask for. I hope to enter Get Picky's Challenge next month as this was great fun. Thanks again Kerry.

Firday Night Challenge!

Well here I am back at FNC, last one for the month. This week we had to use 1 of the last 3 weeks challenges and use black, white and 1 colour of your choice for a colour combo sketch challenge.  I thought how easy, well I was wrong. It took alot of time, thinking, shifting around etc etc. This is the sketch I picked:

 

This is what I came up with, I'm not sure if I'm wrapt in it but here goes:

 

This was Christmas lunch and the flowers were made by my daughter who is a florist here in Wangaratta, they were beautiful. More to do Bye for now. Kerry.

A 2 Z Scraplets Challenge.

Hi here I am with this challenge I have done as well as the blog hop I went on. The chipboard is Daddy's little girl and that is what she is. I printed the photo at home and it was not straight, I decided to run with it and like the finished result. Here is the sketch:

You have to use a A 2 Z scraplets chipboard that really is the only requirement. Here is my entry:

I always do a second page and here it is of my darling husband. Both these pages were taken at his Surprise 50th birthday bash. I still have plenty of photo's to scrap, so the story will unfold then.

Black with two Challenge.

Well here is my entry for Black with Two. This month it is Black card with light blue and hearts. This is my little nephew and sooo cute. I have put a small light blue border around it, it is a bit hard to tell on the photo. So here it is:

I'm very happy with the end result. This was the only light blue peice of paper I had, so I realised I don't scrap with light blue much. Ok that's it for today. Until next time. Kerry.

June Challenge Pack.

I won a challenge pack from Scraphappy Kat for June and it was pink. Well that got the old brain going, I'm usually not a pink person. Well I loved the pack. I had to use all the papers, use 3 chipboards, the ribbon, the string of pearls, I could add anything put it had to be pink. I scrapped my daughters 21st photo, painted the chipboard and added the flowers. I LOVE IT! Here it is:

Purple Pumpkins Challenge.

Well here we are for this months challenge. Here is the sketch:

Scraphappy Kat's June Challenge.

Well here I am with another challenge from Scraphappy Kat. The photo's were taken at my friends scrap retreat [ come girls weekender, pamper weekend etc etc ] opening in Moyhu [ near Wangaratta ] early last year www.juenescraftretreat.com. I have one girl friend who isn't one bit interested in scrapbooking and can not beleive we take photo's of ourselves scrapbooking and then we scrap book them. Ha ha.

 Well here is the challenge:

I thought i'd have a bit of fun with this one to see what you amazing girls can come up with.
We would like to see the 'bones' of the sketch.... this means you don't have to have it exactly the same shape size etc.
For a bit more of a challenge I would love to see some inking techniques and a handmade embellishment.

Well I finished it and started to put it on here and saw I needed inking techniques so I went and got a peice of cord and inked it and put it on the page. I think I liked it better before as I have inked the flowers and page, but  I still love the page and the colours I love together. So here it is:

Firday Night Challenge!

Ok time for Friday Night Challenge over at Scraphappy Kat. This is from some of my son's 18th Cocktail Party { he is now 19} . It was a great night and I have more photos which I'm sure will be up here as soon as I've done them. Well here is the sketch.

I love this large ric rac that I found at our sewing supply shop on Friday, so was pleased to be able to us it straight away. I've also used Purple Pumpkin button and Twine. The flower is from Kaszazz which I sell.

I really enjoyed this challenge. It is different from what I usually do, I think plainer. I quite like the finished result and the colours. Here is my second page of my great friends Belinda and Gloria.

Here's a close up of one of my flowers as they are hard to see. I love the scrunched up and tinted look.

Here it is although the bling doesn't show up as well in the photo I'm happy with it and loved the challenge of the one colour on black.

I always do a double layout with my challenges for my albums and have decided to put them on now as I especially love this lamp chipboard from Crate Paper I brought just recently. The clock in the above page is from the same collection.

You can't read the journalling but it is our annual Girls Weekend Away WooHoo.
