Let's Get Sketchy Challenge.

I am sneaking my challenge entry in at almost the last hour ha ha.

I have completed an entry for Let's Get Sketchy Week 1.

Here is the sketch:

I didn't realize there is a sketch every week so I will

 have to have a look at the blog more often.

Here is what I have created:

Unfortunately this was almost 2 years ago now ha ha, time is flying by fast.

This was the bit of sunshine in my day.

I love using all the bar-code strips that are cut off the bottom of the cardstock as they are all so interesting and varied.

Scrap The Girls January Challenge.

Here I am for the beginning of this year over at Scrap The Girls

 January Challenge. Boy this month has flown by.

Here is this months sketch:

 What a great sketch.

This year I have said I'm using my stash and not buying anything!

Well that lasted a week ha ha.

Still I have been good and only got a couple of little things.

Anyway here is what I have created:

Unfortunately the green hasn't come up as well as I would have liked and I tried fixing it but this is the best I can do.

It was great meeting up with my girlfriend, her daughters and her new man.

They all seem very happy and it was a great night out.

 This is a closeup of this gorgeous butterfly heart from Charms Creation and the lime green flowers that I cut up which is from my stash and  I think every time to throw them out, but love it here.

Well it is great to preserve all these great memories.

123 January Challenge.

A new year and a new challenge over at 123 Challenge.

Here is the requirements for this month:

Yellow isn't a colour I use a lot of especially being the main feature. 

Here is what I have created:

Well I thought the yellow would go fantastic with my Lion King photo's of myself ( top left ) and my friend going to watch the show late last year.

As you can see I used yellow, the word together and texture 

( with texture paste and a stencil ).

Here are a couple of close ups of the texture paste etc:

My title is a chipboard from A2Z Scraplets.

This was a fun LO to create.

Here is what I have created:

I have taken my inspiration from the title - salt, sand and the beach. 

Also the red and yellows.

The straw on my page is the same colours as the hat.

My handmade goodies are a map marker from Charms Creation 

and a flair from Funky Flairs. 

I had fun with this layout and love the finished result.

Scrapbookit Challenge!

First Challenge for the year, an it is over at Scrapbookit.

This is the Sketch for this month:

I have used some old photo's of my God daughters wedding

 almost 3 years ago now. 

It was a lovely wedding day up in Bright.

Here is what I have created:

 

I usually create a double and love to pop it up here for family and friends to see so here it is too:

 

Boy this month has flown like every year and great to 

be able to spend a bit scrapping.
