Sketches with a Twist Challenge!

Well it's the last day of the month and I have been busy finishing off this challenge for http://sketcheswithatwist.blogspot.com.au/ and I've just popped over to put it up and it has closed. Anyway I have decided after all my hard work I will blog it anyway.

The Twist is Mothers Day..

Scrap something Mother related or themed.

 

Here is my LO:

I nearly always create a double LO and like to put it up here for family and friends to see, so here I go:

This little bundle of joy has grown so fast and she is now over one years old.

Show Us Your Stuff Challenge!

Here I am quickly popping an entry into this months challenge over at SUYS with only a day to go. Here is what is required:

 May challenge which is to get creative and use some texture paste somewhere on your layout!!

Plus, don't forget that handmade embellishment

 

Here is what I have created:

 I had a sheet of cardstock which I had cut all these arrows out of and I kept it, so I used it  as a  mask. I applied some texture paste in places then misted over the mask. I have drawn around the arrows with texture paste to make them pop on the page.

I have used a vinyl cog from Purple Pumpkin, a bottle cap from Delish  Scraps and I have also made one of my own.

The colouring isn't the best today as it is a dull and rainy day.

I must now hurry as I'm off to work.

Friday Night Challenge.

I feel like life is getting back to normal after my daughters wedding and my sons 21st I can scrap again.

I have attempted FNC again over at Scraphappykats

There was a sketch and you had to use brown as your background and use flowers. 

Here is the sketch:

I have chosen photo's from when we went to the Melbourne flower show last year. 

This is my daughter who is a florist and my best friend enjoying the day.

Black with 2 Challenge!

Sassy Scrappers Challenge!

Oh how I wish I had time to scrap these days and last weekend I did and I tried a new challenge which I found over at Sassy Scrappers.

They have a lovely sketch and with multi photo's which I love as I always have heaps of photo's to tell my story. 

Here is the sketch:

This LO is of my son's days at Kinder, he just turned 21 and I couldn't find these photo's until after his birthday and now I can add them to his album.

 Here is what I came up with:

I usually complete a double LO  and like to pop it up for my family and friends to see so here it is:

 
I have had so much trouble getting these photo's to load and today they have worked, yippee as I was about to give up.
