Creative Scrappers No:204

I had a few hours scrapbooking with my daughter the other day so I decided to try and squeeze the last one in for this month over at Creativescrappers They have such great sketches over there and here is No:204:

Here is my take of the sketch:
It is the day after my husbands surprise 50th birthday party two years ago, [I'm almost finished these photo's] and it's time to open presents.
I usually do two pages so here it is:
I covered some buttons, stencilled some stars and cut those cute little presents from my cricut machine.
That's it for now. Bye Kerry.

Friday Night Challenge.

Hi everyone it's that time again for FNC over at Scraphappykat Here are the requirements for this week:
 is an INSPIRATIONAL challenge
You are to use this picture as your inspiration

You can use the colours, the quotes, the LO of the picture or a combination of them.
So here is what I have come up with this time around:
I have used the colours even trying to use a bit of yellow in the title. I thought my patchwork paper work resembles the frames and the inked brickwork resembles a room. The colours didn't stand out as much once photographed. As usual I have a double LO and here it is:

I think this looks better as a double LO.
Well that's it for today so I must hurry and get this linked up. Bye for now Kerry.

Fancy That Scrapbooking.

Well here is another new blog I have come across and it is fancythatscrapbooking I also love their blog design it is so cute and love the colours. Here is the sketch for this month:
Here is what I came up with:
I have flipped the sketch and created a LO of my son's school year. I enjoyed this sketch and found it quite quick and easy with a great result. I usually do two pages at once and here it is:
That's it for today, until next time bye Kerry.

Creative Scrappers

This is a new blog I have stumbled upon and love their sketches and some of the wonderful work done by everyone, so I thought I would give it a go. Here is the sketch:
Here is what I came up with:
I flipped the sketch and used arrows instead of flowers. I thought it was a great one for a school LO. As usual I do two pages at once so here is my second page:
Oh boy they grow so fast, he will be 20 next week { but still cute or should I say handsome, but I am his mum}. Well that's it for now, bye Kerry.

Purple Pumpkins Challenge.

Here I am with PP's April challenge. As I have journalled, it is a rare site to have a LO with me { the mum } in it, as I'm usually behind the camera. It is another photo from my daughters 21st last year and tomorrow she turns 22. I had this georgous paper from Authentique that I brought from scrapbookit a while ago and while I was there doing this LO last weekend I brought the rest there. Of course purple pumpkins buttons, tickets and sketch worked in so well together. Here is the sketch:
This is what I came up with, I love the colours:
Here is a close up of one of the versitile spotty buttons:

I'm not one usually to cut my paper up like this, but thouroughly enjoyed it and the result. I usually do two LO's at once so here is my second page:
Well that's it for PP now. Bye Kerry.

Friday Night Challenge!

Hi guys just a quick one today for the FNC over at scraphappykat The requirements are as follows:
Spots and Dots
Your LO is to have lot's of
SPOTS and DOTS
You also must have 3 photos on your LO
A nice and easy one I thought, but still enjoyable. I usually have more than one photo on a page so that wasn't an issue. So here it is my LO:
This is my neice and nephew and I had to take this photo as they screamed the whole time, they hated bath time. I think bath time is better now, it was hilarous for me watching them, but not for their mum.  As usual here is my second LO:
The end photo shows that Giselle was flipped over and everything was fine then.
Well thats it for today. Bye for now Kerry.

Scraphappykat's April Challenge.

We are already in April this year is flying by once again. This is a great month for me as my husband, daughter, son and myself all celebrate our birthdays and it is also our daughters engagement party and I still find time to scrap. Here is the sketch for scraphappykat. this month:
Only Criteria is.....
Use Neutral colours
I think this is another first I can't recall doing an all neutral page. First off I went an developed a wedding shot in 8x10 Sepia. This was a great starting point. Here is my LO:
I'm a bit disappointed the colour isn't the best, also the glimmer mist and coffee stain cirlces don't show up as well in this picture. I took heaps of photo's in the sun , in the shade etc and this is the best one. As usual here is my double LO:
I suppose it is me that has to be happy and I love these LO's. The colour and glimmer is great. That's it for now I hope to have the next one finished soon and back to my blog I come.
Bye for now Kerry.

Friday Night Challenge!

What a FNC this was! Here are the reqirements first off:
Family
Tonight challenge is all about family
I want you to scrap a page of your family
it can be in the past or the present
You can scrap in any style you like
but I do have a little twist for you ???
You are to have as part of your embellishments a picture you have cut out of a magazine or book
I thought I would wait until today and go to the Op. shop and buy some kids books and cut the cute pictures up for a kids page, then I went back and read it again and it had to be my family. So through the photo's I went and I'm usually behind the camera. I found this one from my daughter,  Ashlee's 21st last year. The theme of the party was flowers, as she is a florist. Well I came across this picture from a Womens Weekly and dah dah here is what I came up with:
I wasn't sure about using a magazine picture but I LOVE it. The colours are just great. It took a bit of fiddling about with different things but I eventually got there. I think I would now love to get a book and do a kids page with it. As per usual here is my other page:
That is that for this week. It is starting to become a habit but I finished last weeks and didn't get it in on time, so I thought I would put it up anyway. Here are the requirements:
Tonights challenge is a sketch
You can use the sketch as is, turn it on it's side or upside down
as you can see from this sketch I would like to see lots of layering
You can add lots or just a few embellishments
add a tittle and journaling (if you want)

Here is what I have came up with:

Another bright page. I kept the page fairly well the same just tilting the layers slightly. Here is the double LO:
That's it for today. I hope you all had a great Easter break and I will be back here soon I hope. Bye Kerry.

Scrapbookit's March/April Challenge.

This month over at Scrapbookit it is Design Team Callout and you guessed it I'm going for it. I have admired the Design Teams work and thought I could give it a shot, so fingers crossed and  lets see how I go.
This month it is a sketch by pagemaps and here it is:
I'm almost finished my son's school camping photo's and here is another LO of it:
I love the cute paper in the background and thought it would go great with camping photo's. This was his first school camp in grade3 and he loved it. I usually do a double LO so here is the other page:
Wish me luck everyone. Thanks and bye Kerry.
