Kraft It Up Challenge.

I haven't been able to do a Kraft It Up Challenge for a couple of months so I was thrilled to give it a go this month. This is what was required:

AUGUST CHALLENGE...
This month your challenge is to create a layout that is based on this sketch and using LAYERS, we want lots of different dimensions to your layout, think texture!!!

What a great sketch. I started this while on a scrap retreat and then added more when I came home. Here is what I came up with:

 A little closeup:

I have embossed a pattern in the background and applied 2 different colours when it dried you couldn't see it well enough so I applied some ink { I don't think it photographs as well } I have also made my flags from washi tape. One I have made from plain old masking tape and I have stamped on it as I didn't have the right colour. It worked well I think.
I usually create a double LO as I go and like to pop it up for my family and friends to see, so here it is:

That is it for now.
Bye.
 Kerry.
