Scrap Friends Challenge!

I have found a new blog and am entering this months challenge. 

The Blog is Scrapfriends and I love their little  tutorials too.

This LO is for  my sons 21st album of when he was at Kinder.

Sketches With A Twist Challenge.

I had fun creating this LO with such a cute little girl as the focus.

My transparency is hard to see as I have punched a flower out and layered it with the book page flower and also a tab on the side near the butterfly. 

I usually create a double LO and pop it up here for family and friends to see, so here it is:

Show us your stuff challenge!

Hi back with another one for Show us your stuff and this month it is a quote which is:

 "Laugh as much as you breathe, and live as long as you love'

As soon as I saw it I knew straight away what photo I was going to use and here is my LO:

 This is a photo of my friends at my daughters wedding earlier this year. The one in the orange dress made her dress and accessories for a gag at the wedding { a long story } it was very funny. 

 I had so much fun with this LO. First I mod podged and tore a book up and stuck it to the cardstock. Then I inked the edges.

I found the laugh pin/flag in my stash from D-lish scraps and the camera flair button.  also The doily comes from PP. I made my flags from washi tape. I printed my mason jar, inked the edges and glossy accented the hearts on it.

I usually create a double LO and like to pop it up here for family and friends to see, so here it is:

Sassy Scrapper Challenge!

I think this is the first time  I have entered a challenge over at  Sassy Scrappers.

I seem to run out of time every month and have only discovered them recently.

So this month the challenge was to use this Inspirational Quote as part of your layout,

This is such a gorgeous photo of Lela and I have written "Today I am grateful for little ones".

I also love the colours of this LO.

Purple Pumpkin Challenge!

Hi everyone here I am with an entry into this months challenge over at PP.

Here is the sketch for this month:

This was taken on our trip to Thailand, this was a very interesting site to see, my husband particularly enjoyed it. We had a long trip to get here and a few stop overs on the way, our tour guide popped on the movie, which was great to see before hand. Done of us had seen it in years.

Scrapbookit Challenge!

Just a quick blog post today as I'm not in the design team any more for Scrapbookit so I thought I would give the challenge a go.

Here is this months sketch:

The challenge is to follow this sketch with theme 'Mums the Word'.

 Here is what I have come up with:

This isn't my mum but our friends and we called her mum on our holiday in Thailand to see her son getting married. We were here on a tour of the floating markets.

Florish with a Bling Challenge.

I have just entered this LO into Flourish with a Bling which I hope I have entered the right way, it was very confusing site. Anyway here is the sketch for this month:

It is such a lovely sketch. Here is what I have come up with:

This is a photo of my little scrap group { which has grown now } and it is our Christmas breakup.

I really wanted to create a LO with hexagons. I also used texture paste and a mask for the background.

This was such a fun LO to create.

From Screen 2 Scrap Challenge.

I think this is the first time I have entered this challenge over at screen 2 scrap.

The challenge this month came from the movie: 

'The Great and Powerful OZ'

Added Criteria...

1pt = A Fence
2 pts = Gold/Yellow title
3 pts = Hot Air Balloon/s

 

I really haven't used hot air balloon's before, either fences. So I had to dig through my stash and came up with a chipboard one. Just before starting I also found this paper that I wasn't too thrilled about using. Once I started it all began to flow. 

Here it is:

 

 

I had to add the hills and road which toned down the paper. I inked and glossed the chipboard balloon.

I love the end result.

I usually create a double LO every time so I like to pop it up here for family and friends to see. So here it is:

BW2 is on the look out for new and exciting Designers to join our team ..we are after scrapbooker's and card makers to come on a 6 month journey with our amazing blog challenge . 
Your requirements will be to have a blog and F.B.
Be able to commit to 1 project each month and be on time every time , promote our challenge where possible on your blog and Facebook page and be an active member of our secret F.B. group where we discuss themes colours and all sorts of scrappy fun . Black with 2

Here we are again another month gone by. Come and check out this months challenge at Black with 2  

 This month the colours are black as your dominant colour plus pink and mocha brown.

Here is what I have come up with and it is my double LO:

This is some photo's I took at my lovely goddaughter's wedding in April. I printed the photo's at home and made them sepia but twigged them a little so just a little pink was showing. 

Now come and see what the rest of the design team have come up with and give the challenge a go.
